Discover the power of music beyond the notes. Learning an instrument develops creativity, confidence, focus, discipline and skills that support learning across many areas. Whether students are starting their musical journey or developing existing talents, our after-school lessons offer opportunities to explore, perform and grow at their own pace. Once a week or on several days - anything is possible. Popular courses at Byron at present are:
Piano | Drums | Guitar | Cello | Electric Guitar | Violin | Music Theory (ABRSM EXAMS)
Music lessons can be arranged for any day (Monday-Friday) subject to availability. Each lesson is for 45 minutes and will be tailored by the teacher to suit individual needs and requirements, whether this be purely practical or a combination of theory and practical work, with the addition of working towards a specific music grade / exam if required.
There are two session slots per day; we will do our best to accommodate your preferred session and day but will contact you directly in this regard. Please note that Session 1 is allotted to our younger students as much as possible.
Slot 1: 15.30-16.15
Slot 2: 16.15-17.00

Piano:
A piano or keyboard at home is beneficial for practice.
Drums:
Students need to buy a practice pad and drum sticks to practise at home.
Guitar, Electric Guitar, Cello, Violin:
Students need to bring their own instrument.
Kindly note: all music lessons for a specific instrument are one-on-one private lessons and the annual cost is 860€ per instrument.
